Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Travel Contract)

San Antonio, TX | Acute Care / PCU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Weekend availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed Telemetry/PCU Cardiac Unit with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and continuous pulse oximetry assessment
• Conduct respiratory and cardiac assessments and manage high fall risk patient populations
• Perform blood transfusions, IV starts, and Midline/central line removals
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, PCU, and ED Hold areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for practice in Texas
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Must be available for all weekends as required by the unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Prepared certification
• PALS certification
• Prior ICU, Telemetry, or PCU experience
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and highly engaged professional
